Hi Julie! Thank you for sharing about Scooter and Hooper. They're so lucky to have you to love and care for them. I'm sorry you had to have Scooter put to sleep, but it was really brave of you to do what was best for him, even though it must have broken your heart. It was a wise decision. I'm glad you have Hooper to snuggle and play with! We have a shihtzu too! Her name is Molly, but when she needs a haircut I call her Molly Mopkins, because she looks like a dust mop. She's a great little friend, especially to my little girl Jessa. She lets Jessa hold her like a baby. I'll send you a picture of them on Facebook. Keep writing! I love reading your blog!

Hey Julie!! So happy to read your post. I know you miss scooter! I had a dog named Heather and a dog named Murphy who I think about often. Animals are a gift from God that give us great joy! I hope you are doing well, and maybe I will see you when you're in Atlanta soon! Kathy

It is so hard to loose a pet, they're like a family member. I remember as a child loosing a pet and how much I cried, still as an adult my heart breaks when we loose a pet. I'm so glad you now have Hooper. Thank you for you loving heart and sharing it with us.

Every dog we have through life leaves a special impression in our hearts when they are gone... I miss and love every dog I've ever had and all you can do is know that you took the best care of them you could and loved them while they were here 💓

Hey Julie. Sorry about Scooter. I had to put a cat down last year. That's a hard thing to do. Sad!!. I have a jack russel. named George. he's my baby too. Give Hooper a hug from me.
Love you and have you in our Prayers. Pam

Hi Julie,
I'm happy to see your doing well. I believe dogs are a gift from God to us to show us what unconditional love looks like. I know how hard it is when we loose our best friend, and I hate the thought of that day coming. There is a special place in my heart for all my dogs and I think of them often and get comfort in knowing they were loved, but there always seems to be another puppy or dog just around the corner looking for someone to love him or her. Love them and they will freely give you the gift God sent them here to give.

Take care Julie.

Greg

Hi Julie. I found out about your site watching your brother on Drybar. He's funny! You are both very inspiring! Telling your stories helps so many people. Thanks for telling yours. Your bravery and love shine through. I liked that you wrote your letter about Scooter. I'm sorry you lost him, but glad you got another puppy to share your gifts and love. Keep writing, smiling, and loving. Have a great day! God Bless you.

Hi Julie! I just learned about your website watching Derrick on Dry Bar comedy through YouTube. I am very jealous of your love chromosome, I wish that God had blessed me with it as well. I want to love my life so much, I was raised by a good, God loving family and have always been optimistic about the future. But after two decades of trying so hard to just be a good person and do what I thought i was supposed to be doing and failing miserably at each and every endeavor, I spend most of my time regretting the past, trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong and fearing the future. I'm not sure why I'm on this earth and I hate my life. It's inspiring to read about you and I will aspire to earning a shirt from you that proudly boasts "I love my life".

I just saw your brother on Drybar too and he told us to come check out your website. I'm glad I did. Now I want one of every shirt! I really like your blog. But I see you haven't published in a while. I just wanted to say it's really great to hear yours and your brothers stories. I hope maybe you'll make a new post soon. It may seem like just a small thing but it's really encouraging to hear your positive perspective.
Thanks again and hope you both are well!

Hi Julie! It was amazing to have met you at the party and my concert last night here in Nashville! I am learning all kinds of interesting things about you ; such as your two dogs Scooter and Hooper! My family had two of the same breeds of the same coloring as your pets! The first one we had was Simon, and then came Cosmo. Both were Shih-tzu and both were black and white. In fact we had lost Simon due to heart complications, but then not 6 months after he passed did we see Cosmo loose on the street in front of our house. My children thought it was God giving us another chance at our missed pet. So we kept Cosmo and named him because he came from the cosmos to help us heal. I wish I had a picture to show you, but I thank you for sharing your story as it helps me remember mine. You’re a very bright Light in this world Julie. I am blessed to know you. Love, your friend Jill
